Tuesday 9th April 2019 - Redefining lazy

Today we just weren't up to doing anything but being lazy.
We tried to do it, being lazy that is, as well as we could but we could have done better.
Yes, we sat around looking at video clips and swam in the pool most of the day, but we also cleaned the villa and made up the spare beds. We could have done a lot less.

The highlight of the day  was going out for dinner to Nok Seafood Shop in South Cha Am Beach.
We also know it as "the Leo Shop" ....
The reason why should be obvious

It's not far from our villa but to get there, this evening,
we walked to the south end of Soi Ruamijit and came back to it

It is also right over the road from the beach and gets a cool breeze of an evening

For entree, a Leo beer! 650ml bottles served with ice, to put in your beer.
Yes it sounds weird but it's OK.

As Tiz doesn't like beer and winne is hard to get in anything other than"upmarket" bars
she sensibly chooses water.

Spicy prawns and baby octopus and rice

This super tasty dish was followed with a pork, garlic and coriander dish,
which we forget to get a pic off

We've seen this guy getting around town in this incredibly beat up ute.
No drivers door, no registration, a rear frame made of rusty box section holding up a large blue tank which we think has water in it.
We have no idea what purpose he or the ute or its contents serve but he is around every day.

After dinner it was home and off to bed shortly thereafter.
Tomorrow is a workday for Tiz and I'm going to jump on the bike for a long ride.

Adios amigos.

Some thoughts on the last two months, spent in Thailand

After we return from longer trips to different countries I like to give myself a few days to reflect and then write down my thoughts, and in...
